One-Off Pagani Huayra 70 Anima Makes Its World Debut at Wynn Concours
Last November, we watched the Pagani Huayra Codalunga Speedster make its world debut at Wynn Concours in Las Vegas. A year on, Pagani is back, and earlier today, founder Horacio Pagani personally pulled the cover off the new Huayra Settanta Anima, or Huayra 70 Anima, completing the three-car Huayra 70 series and bringing the entire trio together in public for the first time. Pagani’s mystery global debut was one of the cars we touched on in our 2026 Wynn Concours preview. “Anima,” which translates to “soul” in Italian, is the third and final car built by Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division to celebrate founder Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pagani Automobili (@paganiautomobili) The series began with the green-carbon Huayra 70 Trionfo in December last year, its exposed weave punctuated by vivid orange accents. The Huayra 70 Derecho followed at Goodwood earlier this year, pairing Pearl Orange with deep Inky Blue. The Anima takes the trilogy in a cooler direction. Its exposed carbon body combines diamond-dust-infused Custom Metallic and Inky Blue finishes, accented by a hand-decorated platinum-leaf stripe. Up front, a deeper splitter joins heavily sculpted lower bodywork and extended carbon side skirts, while a substantial intake/fin sits behind the cockpit. Individual roll hoops frame the cabin before giving way to an enormous fixed rear wing, making the Anima look considerably more aggressive than a standard Huayra. The rear is even busier, with prominent vented sections, exposed carbon aero, and a substantial diffuser, while the open rear bodywork puts much of the car’s mechanical hardware on display. Then there’s the exhaust, a bespoke white ceramic six-pipe setup that somehow manages to stand out on a car already overflowing with outrageous details. Inside, white upholstery meets blue accents, exposed machined metal and Pagani’s exquisite and wonderfully overengineered switchgear. The important bit, though, sits between the seats: three pedals and a seven-speed manual transmission, complete with the exposed linkage. Pagani has yet to confirm specific details about the Anima’s output, but the car will likely retain the Derecho’s Mercedes-AMG-developed 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12. In that car, the engine produces 864 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual.
